Dr. Sarah Hileman was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. In 2014, she graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Soon after graduation, she moved to Nevada for a change in climate. Dr. Hileman started at Animal Emergency Center of Reno in September of 2016 after two years in a general practice. As a long-time purebred dog enthusiast and competitor, her special interests in the veterinary field lie in sports medicine and canine reproduction. Dr. Hileman and her husband have two small boys, a Dutch Shepherd, a Belgian Malinois, and an ornery old tom cat. They like to spend their free time as a family off-roading in Toiyabe National Forest or relaxing by the lake, where she likes to curl up in her hammock and devour any epic fantasy she can get her hands on.
