Rachael Worden, Veterinarian

Emergency Clinician

Dr. Rachael Worden grew up in Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati Area. She completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Dayton in Ohio in 2013. Dr. Worden then moved to Alabama to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University in 2017. After graduation she decided to follow her dream of moving to the West Coast and left her hometown to pursue a small animal rotating internship in San Jose. During her internship she developed a passion for emergency medicine and elected to continue practicing in the Bay Area. She has a special interest in trauma and metabolic disease. Dr. Worden recently moved to Reno to be closer to family members and the mountains.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys live music, snowboarding, hiking with her dog Milo, and exploring the Tahoe area. Dr. Worden is excited to be a part of the Animal Emergency and Specialty Team and treat the pets of the Reno/Tahoe community.
