Jill Cadmus, DVM

Dr. Jill Cadmus was born and raised in Oakdale California. Both of her parents are veterinarians so I guess you could say that veterinary medicine is in her blood. She completed her undergraduate degree and graduated from veterinary school at Colorado State University in 2013. Dr. Cadmus joined her parents general practice for 4 years before moving to Reno to pursue her developing passion in emergency medicine. She loves the pace of emergency medicine and working with her veterinary team to provide compassionate care and save lives. During veterinary school, she published papers in orthopedics and strongly considered residency in surgery but since has broadened her interests. Emergency medicine is a great fit for Dr. Cadmus, she looks forward to treating every pet that walks through the door. She prides herself in offering gold standard medicine while understanding the individual needs of each case as a unique set of situations, requiring a unique and specialized treatment plan. She is a member of many professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. During her time off, Dr. Cadmus enjoys scuba diving, fly fishing, gardening, cooking and adventuring with her boyfriend and their Jack Russell Terrier, Gemma.
